Appointment Calls

 

 

POLICY

Appointments can be arranged for all services except: Towing, Winching and Locksmith services.

Appointments must be made at least 1 1/4 hours in advance.

Appointments cannot be made in franchised areas (i.e. parkway calls).

During bad weather conditions AAA may suspend taking appointment calls.

Appointments should not be made more than 1 day prior to the requested date/time.

PROCEDURE:

Make sure appointment is allowable for service needed.

If member is looking to make an appointment for a service for which appointments cannot be made advise the member that an appointment cannot be made for that type of service. The member must call when he/she can be with the vehicle.

As circumstances warrant, a supervisor (only) can make a special exception for appointments not normally allowed. Supervisor approval must be noted in comments.

Why can't appointments be made for tows?

Tows are based on availability of tow trucks. AAA cannot guarantee that a tow truck will be available at an exact time.

How far in advance can appointments be made?

Appointments cannot be made more than 1 day in advance. We do not know what weather or traffic conditions will be if we book too far in advance.
