GAS LEAKS

POLICY:

If a vehicle is leaking gas the Fire Department must be called first to make the sure the car can be safely towed without danger of the leaking gas igniting.

PROCEDURE:

Advise member to call the local Fire Department to make sure vehicle is safe for towing. After the Fire Department has checked the vehicle call AAA back to place the call.

If the Fire Department has already been to the location a call can be placed.
