One Tow Disablement

ONE TOW PER DISABLEMENT

POLICY:

If a car cannot be repaired at a place where AAA towed it, we will provide a second tow.

This only applies if a station cannot fix the car or if it cannot be fixed in a reasonable amount of time.

If the member does not like the price or wants the car fixed immediately, they will have to pay for a 2^nd tow. The rates will be determined by the station. DO NOT quote the $35 rate as this is just for members who are over the call limit.

The station will most likely charge a diagnostic fee.

This policy applies to both Plus and Basic members.

PROCEDURE:

Determine if vehicle was towed to current location by AAA.

Determine if car can be fixed at location.

Advise of policy.

Occasionally exceptions can be made but any additional tows must be authorized by a supervisor. If authorized authorization must be noted in comments.

When going to a supervisor you will need to know how long the member has been a AAA member and what type of membership it is, Plus or Basic.
