Snow Conditions

POLICY:

Service will not be rendered on snowbound cars or cars blocked by snow. Digging or towing a car out of a snow bank or rendering service to cars on unplowed streets or driveways is not an emergency road service function.

During severe snow storms preferential service must be given to cars that have become disabled on major highways or snow emergency routes.

AAA will send service for cars that are experiencing a loss of traction i.e. stuck on ice.

PROCEDURE:

Determine whether member’s vehicle is experiencing a loss of traction or snowbound.

If problem is loss of traction enter call with trouble code as T9 and note “Loss of traction” in comments. If vehicle is snowbound advise member of above policy.
