Third Party and Courtesy Calls
POLICY:
AAA membership covers the member named on the membership, not the vehicle. The member is covered in any vehicle (that is eligible for service- see eligible vehicles) the member is with even if the member was not the driver.
Possible exceptions can be made for a family member living in the same household on a one time basis.
If a previous courtesy call has already been given the family member must take out an associate membership.
Courtesy calls will not be made for non-relatives.
PROCEDURE:
Check to see if a previous courtesy call has been given. If not advise the member we will give a courtesy call on a one time basis. In the future the non-member with the car must be added onto the membership in order to receive service.
If a previous courtesy call has been given the person with the car must be added onto the membership.
