Uhauls

POLICY:

U-Hauls, or any other truck type vehicle, are not primarily intended for passenger or pleasure use. If a member calls to get service on a U-Haul vehicle, advise the member that AAA does not cover U-Hauls. We could only send service on a commercial basis. U-Haul should have their own road service providers. The member would be better off calling U-Haul for service.

PROCEDURE:

Advise member of policy.

Offer to send service on a commercial basis or give the member the name and phone number of the facility that handles the area so the member can contact them directly to arrange service.
